It's almost a complete success: its economic model (with levels to unlock or to pay for) hinder the game from achieve true greatness. Luckily, the developer decided to rethink the game system to make something completely different with a turn-based strategy and puzzle games. Square Enix could have just made a rough adaptation of Hitman for mobile by taking the game's graphics with a lethargic gameplay.
A very successful mobile adaptation of the Hitman series
It’s a pity, even if the game is balanced enough so that you don’t spend hours on the same level. If you don’t want to spend more than the price of the game, you need to practice to master the game and achieve points that will help you level up. It's an unfortunate model for a paid game, which shows once again that Square Enix still has a lot to learn about how to monetize its mobile games.
Not all levels will be accessible from the beginning though you must earn enough points, or empty your pockets. In each level, the optional targets (pick up a briefcase, complete with a time limit, or complete without killing) will let you collect more points, which you’ll then use to unlock additional levels. The characters and settings have a beautiful design, with excellent performance on tablets. To download Hitman 3, make sure that you have uTorrent client installed on your PC. The developers have opted to give the app a very successful ‘board game’ look. For those who already own HITMAN 1 and HITMAN 2, loading the levels into HITMAN 3 is free and your accomplishments from HITMAN 2 will be transferred to HITMAN 3 when the new component is released. It's a very good game system, which soon resembles a puzzle as the difficulty increases.įrom the development point of view, Hitman GO is clean. You move one space on each turn as the guards will follow a predefined path (which you should carefully observe). You may find that the enemy is closer than you think - retrace your steps, and you will prevail.In each level, you’ll move Agent 47 on a game board trying to reach your goal without being seen. You have returned - and you will track down the organization that forced you out of retirement. Failure is not an option - it is a privilege reserved for those who do not try hard enough. Know when to strike instantly, know when to take your time. Remember - rash decisions bleed consequences. Learn your trade - master your tools - overcome your obstacles - outsmart your enemies - eliminate your targets. Your targets may hide in the most remote areas of the planet, but their destruction is never prevented - only postponed. Trust no one - if the price is right, the finger of your most trusted ally will be on the trigger. Visit the dark recesses of a world corrupted by crime, greed, degradation and dishonour. You may be a hired killer but you still have a sense of loyalty and justice. Enter the realm of a retired assassin, forced back into action by treason.
